The Wargamer show has been running
since 1996, and has been held at a number of venues, including the Fox Hollies Leisure Centre, Aston Villa Leisure Centre,
Coldfield Town Hall, until 2012 it was held at
at the Great Barr Leisure Centre, But a couple of years ago, due to uncertainies beyond my control, we had to move again, Most of the attendees seemed to like the New Venue, it has better lighting and easier vehicle access, it also just off the main Hagley Road, so it's easier public transport wise it's on Kent Road, Halesowen, B62 8PJ.

Directions from M5 Junction 3, take
A456 Manor Way towards Kidderminster, for about one mile, you come to an island, go round this and come back on yourself down the A456, about half a mile take a left on to Manor Lane B4043, follow this road for about half a mile until you come to an island turn left on to Kent Road venue is about half a mile up this road on the left, .
Directions from Broad Street BIRMINGHAM, take the No. 140 or No 141, get off at the Hurst Green (Dudley) before Long Lane stop, from here walk to the Halesowen Road (A456), turn left on the Halesowen Road, walk up to the Island, you should see a pub on your side of the road on your left, turn left, the pub should still be on your left, this is Kent Road, the centre is a little way down on your right hand side, these buses should take about 35 minutes and the walk 240 metres approx, no more than 10 minutes, alternatively, you can take the No 9 bus, again from Broad Street, ask the driver to let you off at the Spies Lane stop just after Shenstone Valley Road, walk back on yourself and walk up Shenstone Valley Road, take the second left turning, this should be Compton Road, walk down here to an Island, this is Kent Road, turn right on to Kent Road, the venue is up this road on your left, the total walking distance after you have got off the bus is about 400 metres, the centre phone number is 01384 818046. The trip should take about 40 minutes on this bus and about 10 -15 on foot after getting off the bus,

a large bring and buy, plus a café (run by the centre staff),the parking is free (there are two main car parks, one on-site one a little closer to Halesowen itself)
